Show and Tell Schedule
Show and tell will occur every day before the end of the school day. Each month there will be a theme to the show and tell. For example, September's theme is 'My Favourite Toy'. Students may bring in their favourite toy or a picture of it to share with the class. Presentations will be no longer than five minutes and the class will ask the presenter three follow-up questions. It's a great idea to practise at home as this will be part of your child's oral communication mark.

In January we will begin learning about making inferences. For Show and Tell this month students will bring in an object in a paper bag (this will be provided the week of Jan. 4th) and give the class 3 clues (written on the bag) about what their object is. The class will then have to make inferences to guess what the object in the paper bag may be.

In Social Studies we are learning about "Our Changing Roles and Responsibilities", so along with a family photo students will be asked to share a responsibility that they have at home.
